Vigilent systems and services deliver the power and control you need to get the most out of your facility's cooling resources. The benefits provided by our advanced, artificial-intelligence-based technology start from the moment our systems are installed.
Vigilent systems are designed to meet the unique needs of two primary environments.

Duty Cycle – The fraction of time that a system its "on" state; longer duty cycles can often shorten the total lifetime of a device.
Headroom – A safety zone that allows transient peaks to exceed the standard capabilities of a system without damage to that system.
Resilience – The ability of a system or environment to adequately handle, and recover from, stressful perturbations. A resilient cooling environment, for example, provides adequate headroom to accommodate high-temperature conditions.
A fan's power consumption has a nonlinear relationship with its speed, offering a significant reduction in energy use for a small decrease in airflow. A 20% reduction in speed can deliver a 50% decrease in power consumption, dramatically reducing energy costs. Here's a graph for a typical fan.
